There are many ways to get up and get moving throughout Chestermere. Here are some fun ways to stay active throughout the summer.

 

Run or Bike on the Paths

There’s plenty to see on the paths. 26km of paths connect the community to the lake, green spaces, and even Calgary’s Bow River Pathway. Whether you’re a biker or runner, utilizing the paths is a great way to get out and see the community.

 

Head to the lake for a swim

Not only is it a great way to cool off but it’s also good exercise Swimming highly aerobic and one of the best low-impact exercises you can do. It is also great for heart health.

 

Play Soccer or Baseball

There is a variety of well-maintained sports fields. They can be used for hosting games or just practicing. Why not get a group together for a weekly game? Not only is it a fun way to exercise but it’s also a fun way to socialize and meet new people.
