On the functional side, we are seeing many builders incorporate a 2nd-floor laundry room, keeping the laundry close to the closets – no need to drag those heavy baskets down to the basement. Some home plans even connect the laundry room to the primary bedroom’s walk-in closet.
Mudrooms with lockers for every family member are almost essential in our climate! Contain the mess and keep everything in its proper place with handy lockers and hooks. Some even have room for a dog wash station!

Kitchens are the hub of a home, and extra touches can make it fun for everyone – beverage and snack stations for the kids, or wine racks for the parents make it easy to store whatever you crave.
